Another crazy month is coming to an end!!
This Saturday is the Winter Farmers Market and I have been considering a new product for quite sometime now, I do have a recipe I like so I think I'll make 3 or 4 of them for Saturday and see how they sell. Maybe even put it up on the website too!
Feb is usually a busy gift giving month for us. I do look forward to packing up orders to send to people. It still makes me speechless how many loyal customers I have and how many new customers I get everyday!
It's time to get back to work creating and packing up orders!
Well 2020 has already been crazy around Midwest Bath Gals!
We have completely moved back to the original building and will be focusing on building our online presence and doing a few craft fairs and the Farmer’s Market in Independence, Mo.

Confirmation we were approved for the new location. Signed the lease and had the space painted bright white inside.
December 28-30, 2018
My husband and I spent alot of time packing, moving, & cleaning.
December 31, 2018
Kam, Jennifer, & Chris came by and helped put the finishing touches on the shop to make it shopable.
Janurary 1, 2019
This was the first day OPEN at our new location.
Janurary 2-31, 2019
Busy unpacking all of my creating supplies and packaging. I also moved the shopable space to the front instead on just one side.
A wonderful friend and photographer of mine put up some of her photos on the walls for sale. So exciting to have art on my walls finally.
Foot traffic is up which is awesome however, I need people coming in daily not just people here and there. I did make enough sales to cover rent which was awesome and a first.
I do believe when Spring and Summer hits the clients will start pouring in!
Until next time,
It's crazy to think how far Midwest Bath Gals has come since July 2018. I went from my kitchen table, to my shop in my backyard, to a real shop with a retail store and a standing spot at our Farmers Market!!
I started with Lip Balms in 2010 and just researched and formulated a ton of my own recipes. It is really exciting each and everyday to create the items I dream about! I'm the happiest I've been in a very long time.
Not many of you know this about me but I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia before starting Midwest Bath Gals and it'$ a long story but the short version is my employer fired me due to "being a liability" yeah ok I said. This was the tipping point of my decision to start my own company and go FT in making my bath and body products that I just love creating!
As far as my Fibro, Well I'm on 8 medications daily and have to sit alot while I'm creating and working along, with going to the Chiropractor twice a week, resting and my meds it is becoming easier to know the signs of my body and when to push it and when to rest.
Anyways I have been thinking of moving the shop again to a strip mall here in Independence, Mo. as the place I'm at now is wonderful and I love everyone around me but I'm limited to the hours I can be open as the building is only open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Most people who are shopping do it after work or on the weekends. Not to mention I have no foot traffic where I'm at right now. So I'm stuck on this decision!!
I did receive my new embed molds for making Marshmallows, Blueberries, Raspberries, Mermaid tails, unicorn horns, strawberries and more to come!!
I do have my Pateron site setup and active now. If your not familiar with Pateron it is a platform where you subscribe to me and I share all kinds of information including DIY recipes, videos, Monthly Q&A and more.
I believe that's all the new things for today!
